Cuz was born on August 4, 2005.  As a puppy, one of our boys bonded with her and they spent quite a bit of time together.  Our son did not say much at that time, but we asked him what he wanted to name her.  He said, "Cuz".  We all laughed together and decided that she would be Cuz.  For a Golden Retriever, she has excellent conformation and tight joints.  When she walks, her gait is even and she holds her head proudly.  Cuz has a natural prey drive for a retriever and has been very easy to train.  She is confident and loyal to her family.

Cuz's puppies are the type of puppy that is sought after for therapy work and various other types of work.  They are strong, compact, easy to train and consistently have great quality coats. Occasionally she has dark gold Goldendoodles, but often she has med to light colored Goldendoodles.

Anyone observing Cuz can see a dog that is devoted to people and is eager to please.  She is quick to drop whatever she is doing when she hears her name called.  She has been a mate to Grant for all her puppies.  Sunshine Acres feels this cross has exhibited all the qualities that we measure as high in importance for a Goldendoodle and there is no need to experiment.  Cuz's puppies usually range in size from 40 to 55 pounds.
